Abstracts:

In this talk, Dr. HUI will develop a critique against the current discourses on technological futurism (e.g. Artificial Intelligence, Technological singularity, Anthropocene, etc.) which seem to have largely proposed a homogeneous and synchronized future based on certain particular epistemologies. Dr. HUI will introduce the notion of technodiversity that he has developed in the past years in order to conceptually reopen the question of technology and methodologically pro-pose alternative practices.
