Emerging Media, Arts, and Technology : Research, Design, Curriculum

This talk describes the creation of a multidisciplinary school that focuses on the creative possibilities and critical analysis ofemergent media forms. The School of Arts, Technology, and Emerging Communication engages artists, designers, scholars, researchers, and reflective practitioners in collaborative research focusing on design of new technological experiences, the production of new knowledge, and the transformation of culture industries. The presentation will provide an overview of key research areas, curriculum foundations, and the role of design as a catalyst for learning.
