Abstracts:
In this presentation, artist Daniel Shanken will discuss recent work, research, and what he calls 'Deep Renders'—a process of mapping, flattening, and interrupting circular flows of information on- and off-line. This method aims to uncover fragments and pathologies otherwise obscured by the vastness of these saturated systems and offers the possibility of a more independent and speculative representation of real-time data.
