Abstract
The rise of new techniques, such as mobile sensing, data analytics, and blockchain, have brought wonderful opportunities to process big data collected from mobile sensors and provide resources and services on an intelligent basis. This talk will share my experience in developing state-of-the-art methods to extract valuable information from a large amount of sensing data to support various location based services and provide efficient query services for blockchain system. Topics of this talk will include automatic indoor floor plan construction, outdoor map update, urban safety index map construction, and efficient and verifiable query services for blockchain systems. Validation results will be presented to demonstrate the effectiveness of our methods.
