Dr. Shi Ping ZHANG

Dr. Zhang is a seasoned practitioner of acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine. His current research foci are clinical evaluation of Chinese medicine related therapies in the real world setting and the application of data analytics and A.I. in TCM telehealth health care, especially in elderly communities to enable self-care. He is conducting research on the use of smartphone for detection and monitoring of inflammation, a condition that is common to many diseases, including COVID-19 and diabetes. He is also working on a clinical trial that evaluates a new TCM analgesic product using telehealth delivery.
