Dr. Ann Lui is a psychologist specialized in research in the areas of cognitive neuroscience and special education. Her latest research project examines human brain responses to emotional speech among children and adults with autistic traits. She also studies behavioral and brain activities related to processing other social signals such as human faces. She obtained B.S.Sci. and M.Phil. from the Chinese University of Hong Kong, and M.Sc. and Ph.D. from Northwestern University, U.S.A. Before moving back to Hong Kong, she worked at National University of Singapore and National Central University, Taiwan.
